ZOO 3.2.2 script details ZOO utilizes the concept of "apps" to extend the built-in Joomla management features with support for new types of content types.
Developers can use ZOO to extend Joomla to support more complex setups and be able to function as an online directory, blog, download archive, and so on.
For each extended content type, ZOO comes with lots of management features like tags, categories, comments moderation, option panels, sample data, and all the proper documentation to help you manage them.
And if you want to build your own app, the built-in ZOO content builder can be used to create custom content types.
The ZOO package is available for free, but to get access to the whole collection of apps, a commercial license must be purchased.
